The Ducati Diavel AMG, a special edition motorcycle based on the flagship Diavel Carbon developed in collaboration with Mercedes AMG, is officially available for sale in Malaysia. A preview unit is currently on display at the Ducati AMG Performance Centre in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Officially unveiled last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Diavel AMG is the first 'co-inspired' model borne from an association that started with Mercedes AMG's sponsorship of the Ducati MotoGP Team that was announced in the 2010 Los Angeles Motor Show.
Notable AMG touches to the Diavel in this variant includes the signature 5-spoke rims, carbon fibre lateral radiator grills with aluminium trim, sport exhaust system with engraved end-caps, and Alcantara seats. Another notable AMG touch is the engraving on the engine of the technician responsible for hand tuning the motor's cam timing.
The Special Edition Ducati Diavel AMG is open to orders at a retail price of RM193,999. A total of five units have been allocated for Malaysia thus far, and three of them have been booked.
