Driving the New Camry 2012

The All new Toyota Camry has official launched in Malaysia last Friday (1st of June).  To start off, 3 variants will be available for customers to purchase. The all new 2.5V engine Camry and the 2.0G model and 2.0E model.


Toyota Camry 2012 2.5V has fitted in with standard aerokit with day light running LED integrated. UMW Toyota’s move is smart to keep up the market trend.  The Camry with the aerokit does stand out more when compare to the one without Camry. The aerokits are optional so customer that wish to go for the either the 2.5V , 2.0G or 2.0E 
. 
For 2012, the Camry comes equipped with an all-new six-speed automatic transmission, as well as a taller final drive ratio of 3.634 in four-cylinder models and 3.458 on V6 vehicles for improved fuel economy. In addition, the gearbox features flexible logic for torque converter lock-up that can allow the converter to provide some slip to no slip at all, depending on the situation. The driver can manipulate gear selection via a bump shifter on the console or, on SE models, by wheel-mounted paddle shifters


Colours that are available for the new Camry are, White Pearl CS, Attitude Black, Silver Metallic & Medium Silver Metallic. Price ranging from RM 149,900.00  for 2.0E , RM 157,900.00 for 2.0G and for the top of the range 2.5V will be RM 180,900.00

Toyota Sienta Malaysia Officially Launched

UMW Toyota Motors Sdn Bhd brings All New Toyota Sienta to our Market, Two varints will be offered- the Sienta G which will be priced at RM 92,900 and Sienta V (higher spec) will be at RM 99,900, on the road with insurance. This new model powered by the new 1.5 liter 2NR-FE Dual VVT-i engine and equipped with more safety features such as three airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Hill Assist Control (HAC) and come with two ISOFIX fittings on the second row. The Sienta G comes with halogen lighting and regular LED tail lamps, one-side power sliding door (passenger side) and rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. In the interior, the Sienta G comes with black fabric upholstery, standard six-speaker sound system with bluetooth-enabled 2-DIN radio and CD players, manual air-conditioning with rear blower.
