Subaru XV SUV Coming Soon to Malaysia




The 2013 XV Crosstrek is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in two trims, the 2.0i Premium and the 2.0i Limited. 

Upon introduction, the 2.0i Premium is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, H4, 148-horsepower engine that achieves 23-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2.0i Limited is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, H4, 148-horsepower engine that achieves 25-mpg in the city and 33-mpg on the highway. A variable speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard. 


the official Subaru distributor for 10 countries across Asia, has announced that the Subaru XV, the first Subaru to be locally-assembled for the ASEAN region, will not be launching in October as previously indicated, but will instead be rolling out of Tan Chong Motor Assemblies in Segambut, KL, in December, with an official launch date expected in January 2013, priced in the region of RM 150K.

Toyota Sienta Malaysia Officially Launched

UMW Toyota Motors Sdn Bhd brings All New Toyota Sienta to our Market, Two varints will be offered- the Sienta G which will be priced at RM 92,900 and Sienta V (higher spec) will be at RM 99,900, on the road with insurance. This new model powered by the new 1.5 liter 2NR-FE Dual VVT-i engine and equipped with more safety features such as three airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Hill Assist Control (HAC) and come with two ISOFIX fittings on the second row. The Sienta G comes with halogen lighting and regular LED tail lamps, one-side power sliding door (passenger side) and rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. In the interior, the Sienta G comes with black fabric upholstery, standard six-speaker sound system with bluetooth-enabled 2-DIN radio and CD players, manual air-conditioning with rear blower.
