The new Mercedes W212 E-Class facelift is a really comprehensive, and it brings the E-Class design up to date with the current Mercedes-Benz design language found on cars like the current A-Class, B-Class and M-Class. The twin headlamp design have been ‘merged’ to a new single lens design that reminds us of the old W220 S-Class. The headlamps are fitted with partial LED lights as standard, while full LED technology is available for the first time in this class as an option. Flowing light elements within the headlamps that also function as daytime running lights help to ensure that the “four-eyed” look which is typical of the E-Class has been graphically retained.
The engine range will most likely include the 3.5-liter V6 for the E350 and the 4.7-liter twin-turbo V8 for the E500/E550. As for the E63 AMG, the engine in that monster should continue to remain the same. Mercedes reportedly has a turbocharged 3-liter V6 with 333 hp, which they will introduce to the new C-Class, and maybe even the E-Class.
