The new Evoque 2014 featuring new technology upgrades including new nine-speed ZF gearbox. The new automatic gear-box makes 9.4 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions, and an 11.4 per cent increase in fuel economy. Other technologies like; parking assist, lane departure and traffic sign recognition systems, and a wade sensor. According to British automaker ' Land Rover ', wade sensing uses sensors in the door mirrors to provide the driver with information when driving through water.
From the board system we can see a number of new improvement, featuring optional 'active driveline' which allows the evoque's standard 4 wheel drive system- switch to front-wheel drive mode once on the move.The system then switches back to all-wheel drive if and when it detects any loss in traction.
Active torque biasing is also employed, with a new electronic differential at the rear, distributing torque between the rear wheels. the new Evoque has InControl connected car system, which has two new features called InControl Remote and InControl Secure. InControl Remote allows owners to trigger an SOS Emergency Call, which automatically informs the emergency services of the vehicle’s position in the event of an accident. A button concealed behind a flap in the overhead console (to avoid accidental triggering) activates the system manually. A second button connects to Land Rover Assistance if the need for technical assistance arises.
