Honda Vezel is SUV crossover based on Honda Fit (known as the Honda
Jazz in Malaysia). The New Vezel was first introduced at Tokyo Motor
Show 2013. The Vezel offers the engine seen in the Honda Jazz, on the Japanese market and this comes with the 1.5 litre direct injection petrol engine, alongside the CVT transmission and the 1.5 litre direct petrol electric one motor Sport Hybrid i-DCD, which has been paired to the dual clutch transmission.Honda Vezel standard version will hit the market
(Japan) starting December 20, 2014.
From the exterior the Vezel will look much like the CR-V, only scaled down. The handles on the back door are hidden in the blacked out area of the door frame, which gives the car an almost coupe like silhouette.
On the interior the dashboard of the Vezel along with the instrument panels looks the same as that found in the Jazz. There is an electric type unit parking brake.Just like with the new Jazz, the legroom along with headroom is generous in the Vezel. The back seating offers a split fold of 60:40 and they go flat to offer more space.
The Vezel is around the same footprint as the Mitsubishi ASX as it comes in at 4,295 mm long and 1,770 mm wide. About the only difference is height as the Vezel is 10mm lower. Honda have not said anything about the wheelbase.
