The GTS trim level can be combined with a selection of five engines, including the 158hp (160PS) 1.4-liter TSI and 207Hp (210PS) 2.0-liter TSI petrols, and the 138Hp (140PS) 2.0-liter TDI / 2.0 TDI BlueMotion and 168Hp (170PS) 2.0-liter TDI diesels. The interior of the GTS is adorned with black seats with red stitching, piano black lacquer accents on the dashboard, the flat-bottom steering (also with red stiches) and the door trims, the GTS logo on the front seatbacks and the edging around the floor mats, and a bespoke gear knob in what VW calls "golf ball" style.
