Mitsubishi Evo XI Hybrid Concept 2014

The next Mitshubishi features a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine mated to some derivation of the electric motor found in the hot new  Mitsubishi i-MiEV  plug-in electric. Expect upwards of a  combined 350 horsepower and far better efficiency than the current  2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution’s  17 mpg city/23 mpg highway. The replacement model for the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will get a hybrid powertrain and is set to rival the almighty Nissan GT-R. The new Evo will not be as we now know it; instead, it will be offered in either a 500hp plug-in hybrid (PHEV). An Interview report adds the powertrain will pull this high performance car from 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds.
