Volkswagen Polo Sedan 2012

The all-new Volkswagen Polo Sedan, now the most affordable German car in the market at RM99,888 retail before on-road costs. What the Volkswagen Polo Sedan comes with is a 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder 16-valve petrol engine that puts out 105 HP at 5250 rpm and 153 Nm at 3800 rpm—the latter described by Volkswagen Group Malaysia as class-leading. Due to the lack of appetite for manual gearboxes, Malaysia is not offered the five-speed manual gearbox standard for other markets, instead getting a six-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox that channels the generated output to the front wheels. What it does get is 16 valves, twin camshafts and multi-point fuel injection. Outputs are rated at 103hp @ 5,250rpm and 153Nm @ 3,800rpm. It is mated to a conventional six-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic manual override. With this combo, the Polo Sedan is capable of a 12.3-second century sprint on the way to a top speed of 183kph. Official fuel consumption
