The big question of new registration for Kuala Lumpur vehicles once the WFY series ends has been answered.The new series will start with W followed by numbers from 1 to 9999 and ending with A.Disclosing this in Putrajaya, Thursday, Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said vehicle registration in the city was currently running at WYK 6xxx and that the WYY series (ending at WYY9999) was expected to run out in July."In connection with this, it has been decided that new registration of vehicles for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur after the WYY series will begin with W 1 A and end at W 9999 A."The next in the series will be from W 1 B till W 9999 B, followed by W 1 C and so on," he told a press conference after attending a briefing on the Transport Ministry in Putrajaya.After the series ends at W 9999 Y, it will continue with WA 1-9999 A , then WY 1-9999 Y, followed by WAA 1-9999 A till WAY 1-9999 Y.The new series will end at WYY 1-9999 Y.
